"For millennia, man remained what he was for Aristotle: a living animal with the additional capacity for a political existence; modern man is an animal whose politics places his existence as a living being in question."
Michel Foucault, History of Sexuality.

"But the greatest thing by far is to have a command of metaphor. (...) It is the mark of genius, for to make good metaphors implies an eye for resemblances."
Aristotle, Poetics.

"A pessimist, confronted with two bad choices, chooses both."
Jewish Proverb.
"The Flashing Show" is a 'pièce de résistance' against nudity censorship (Politics); i.e., "The Flashing Show" is a 'pièce de résistance' in favor of a boundless freedom (Art). But since "The Flashing Show" acknowledges the imperialism of Design over Art and Politics (being neither against nor in favor of it...) , then "The Flashing Show" is a resigned, a-political, non-artistic, neutral and almost meaningless 'pièce de résistance' about contemporary Ethics and Aesth(Ethics).
